This is a very simple design of a single piece sex sling that is inexpensive and easy to make, although not as versatile as the
multi-piece advanced sling. It is designed to be used with a lift (manual or electric). The most convenient way to use this with a person in a
wheelchair is to spread the sling out on a bed and use a commercial transfer sling to transfer them to the sex sling. Clothing removal and adjustments
must be made on the bed; once the sex sling is raised the tension of the fabric makes clothing removal difficult.
This sling is similar to, but not exactly like the sling here.
You or a friend can make it using a regular sewing machine, some denim fabric and high strength tubular webbing, chain and hardwood dowel. If you live in
a large city this stuff should be available locally, if not order over the Internet. Cost to make this sling (materials only) is between $25 and $45
depending upon your suppliers and what you have on hand already. If you're not fussy about color, purchase end-of-the-line denim for about one-quarter of
the price of regular denim.
